CDC's program for elementary school-age boys and girls (K-6) provides a safe, fun, educational setting for your child before and after school in Cranberry, Franklin and Oil City.
Included with the School-Age Program
A healthy breakfast and afternoon snack; homework help; school-day bus transportation to and from Cranberry, Franklin, Oil City, St. Patrick, St. Stephen and Valley Grove schools; engaging activities; and indoor or outdoor play every day (weather permitting).
If there's a school delay or cancellation due to winter weather, there's no problem. Our school-age centers are open from 6 am to 6 pm every weekday whether or not school is in session, and transportation to and from school is provided in case of a delay or early dismissal.
Camp Funshine is CDC's all-day, 10-week summer camp program that is intended to provide a safe, fun, educational summer for elementary school-age children (K-6).
The Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) operates Pennsylvania's child care subsidy program statewide, including in Venango, Crawford and Erie Counties. The ELRC helps income-eligible families to find and pay for child care or early childhood education (including before- and after-school care and summertime care) so the parents can work or attend school.
Many families are not aware that they and their child care provider are eligible for ELRC funding. If your family meets the income and work or school requirements of the program, and your child care provider qualifies, the ELRC may be able to help you.
