Prize
This year, one winner from each county will receive:
- A $25 Target gift card.
- A CDC prize pack for the winning child.
- The winning image will be featured on CDC's social media.
- The winning image could be used to help promote next year's Back-to-School Contest and events.
Rules:
1. Submissions will be accepted from August 28th until September 8th.

2. Please read the rules below before submitting an image.
- You must be 18 years or older to participate.
- Please only submit photos of your child that were captured in 2023 during their first or second week of school.
- The image must feature a child enrolled at CDC in a Preschool or School-Age program.
- Please limit your entry to one per child and have only one child featured in your image.
- Please name your photo with your child's full name
- For example: "JaneBrown"
3. To enter, fill out the form below on this page. Submissions will no longer be accepted through Facebook.
4. All photos will be posted on our Facebook page for voting from noon September 19th until 3 pm September 29th.
- The photo with the most LIKES (or reactions) on their image will be the winner. There will be one winner from each county.
- You can vote for your own child and encourage others to do the same.
- You can vote for more than one photo; however, you can only vote on each photo once.
- Staff are also encouraged to participate.
- Comments will not count as votes.
5. After sending your image, make sure you are following CDC on Facebook and don't forget to share this contest with your friends and family! Feel free to use #CDCDayOne or #FirstDayCDC when you go to share a post about this photo contest.
6. One winner will be selected from each county on Monday, October 2nd! Three lucky winners will receive a $25 Target gift card along with a fun CDC prize pack for the winning child.
